Our mission is simple: We exist to proclaim reconciliation in Christ.
Greater Bridgeport Christian Fellowship (GBCF) is a people loving community located at the heart of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Our ultimate aim is to make Christ's love visible in such an appealing way that all who encounter it are inspired to believe and dedicate themselves to Him. Whether you’re brand new to us or you’ve been a part of our community for years, we want you to feel loved, known, and supported as we navigate this life together.
“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” – Colossians 4:2
As we step into the second half of the year, Greater Bridgeport Christian Fellowship is calling our entire church family to unite in intentional, consistent prayer.
We are launching a Mid-Year PRAY-A-THON — a 21-day journey where we ask every member to commit just 15 minutes each day to pray for our church. Whether you’re praying in the early morning, during your lunch break, or before bed, your time makes a difference!
Why Are We Doing This?
Inspired by Colossians 1:9–14, we are believing God to:
We believe God is preparing our church for greater impact — and prayer is how we align with His vision and receive His strength for the journey ahead.
How to Get Involved
Our Goal: 250+ Hours of Prayer
If 50 people each pray for just 15 minutes a day, we will easily exceed 250 hours of prayer. Every minute matters. Every voice counts. Together, we are building an altar of prayer and faith over our church, our families, and our city.
